Hey girls! Im new to this so I was wondering if anyone can give me some ideas for a baseball themed weddig?? I appreciate the help. I am in desperate need!!!

So maybe for each table name them a player on the team you like. If you like different teams do half one team and hald the other.
Get a grooms cake in the shape of a baseball stadium.
- huge mets fan here.... most of the '09ers are yankees fan.... so it's nice to have someone on my side!
Hey I'm a mets fan too !! I have many friends that work there and the place I work for used to be affiliated with the mets too thats how I made my friends ... but I have been a mets fan since I can remember .. BTW Congrats NYMetsBride ...!!
I was thinking of doind the baseball theme myself... It would be hysterical cuz FH is a mets fan and I'm yanks so we butt heads all the time

Thats exactly who I was thinking of... she has so many good ideas for a sports theme, even her favors are what you would get at a baseball game

We are not doing a baseball theme but we are both HUGE Mets fans - born and raised! I have always wanted to do my rehearsal dinner at Shea (which won't happen since its being torn down) but I would love to do it at Citi Field. I know it isnt the actual wedding, but it is definitely a part of the wedding plans. I want to do dinner there but its very expensive, so we might do something a little less expensive in the area and then go to the game afterwards.

congrats on your engagement! we're not doing a baseball theme or anything but fh is a huge mets fan so i am going to order a mets garter from e-bay.

I saw a post on here a few weeks ago where someone had a Yankee themed wedding..her invitations were pin striped, her BMs wore navy blue, it was cute (although I am so not a Yankee fan!!) But you can incorporate the colors of the Mets or have fun centerpieces....

You can use baseballs as place cards...not sure how much that would run you as I haven't played a sport since 1999, lol...but that would be so cute I think.

Tara(GettingHutched) is a really good friend of my sisters(BunnyBride). She was at her Yankee themed wedding and said it was great. Not too over done or anything like that. Definitely check out her album. She has a lot of great ideas that you could steal

I know she was tryin to add the bob sheppard announcement and i'm dying to hear it!!!! I told FH what she did and even though hes a mets fan.. he thought it was really cool LOL
