Just a refresher-- My MOH is being difficult with the dress I chose. At first, she made it clear that she wanted to wear a different dress. I don't want that look for my wedding. Told her three times. She sent me an e-mail saying that she will be uncomfortable in the dress all day and would not be able to dance or help me.
I think that it looks uncomfortable the straps around the arms would drive me crazy

I do agree, the dress looks beautiful, but confining. Did she try it on at all?
Is there another dress you are considering?

I don't think it looks uncomfortable...
As a bridesmaid, I've worn an off the shoulder gown and it was fine...
Let me know if you want that pic from my wedding again!!!

if your moh isnt use to wearing form fitting things she might not be comfortable. i dont think i would be comfortable all day in the dress but thats just me. maybe she can wear the dress a different way. they do all sorts of intereresting things to convert dresses. maybe they can make it a halter or a strapless. maybe you can find a similar dress thats less confining.

I think the bridesmaid gown is very pretty. I have tried on wedding gowns with that sleeve. I think that it looks very elegant but it is difficult to lift my arms.

it's a beautiful gown but one must have a kick-*** bod to pull it off...
i know i would not be comfortable in such a dress and would voice my concerns as well. in the end i would figure out how to make it work if the bride really wanted it, but as a bride i would do my best not to make my BM's feel uncomfortable with what they are to wear...

Actually one of my bm's tried this on for fun the other day. I loved it and it looks great ( she is also SUPER SKINNY) but she said the straps were SO ANNOYING. and it looked great when she was walking or standing but she said she was afraid she would be trying to pick up the straps all day lol She also said it was very uncomfortable to lift her arm ( like when they do that bridge thing at the reception) and when she is dancing.

Is it just the sleeves? It looks like a mermaidish dress and I tried on a mermaidish wedding gown myself and felt like I would not be able to move much. I can see how it would be uncomfortable based on the pic. My MOH tried on a dress with those sleeves and while she loved the look she agreed it would be hard to move her arms in while dancing.
