Batchlorette party dilema
Hi girls I need some help. I kinda dug myself in a hole
So my maid of honor is amazing and has planned a trip to Vegas for my batchlorette party. My bridal party will be going as well at my work friends who are very very close friends of mine, here's where the problem is. So one of the girls I work with (Annie) is also one of my bridesmaids and one of my best friends. About 3 years ago my company hired a girl (let's call her Mary) to work in our LA office. After only working with us a few months we were told that they were planning on firing Mary. Annie fought our bosses to give her another chance and they listed to ker and decided not to let Mary go. A few weeks after that Mary went to our very awful boss to complain about Annie saying she was too controlling, it ended up turning tnto a whole thing and Annie getting in trouble. After that Annie and I never trusted her again. Shortly after that we hired a few new people, who we ended up getting extremely close with ( these are the girls who are coming to Vegas) Annie asked that i mever tell the girls what happened with Mary because she didn't want to start any sort of drama. So I tried to just put my best food forward and make the best of it.
When I got engaged my MOH told me about her plan for Vegas. I knew for sure o wanted my work girls there. Because were such a small company and everyone is so close all the girls just kind of assumed Mary would come. I just went along with it because I figured I couldn't invited all the girls and not her so I told her about the plans for the trip too. Well almost a year ago now Mary left the company. All of the girls stay in touch with her but I don't really. I honestly feel like if it weren't for my wedding she wouldn't stay in touch with me. I tired not talking about Vegas but she keeps bringing it up and I just really don't want her to come
Part of the problem is there's already 12 of us going... That's a lot of people. Also she's one of those people that demands all the attention in the room. She has an energy that just stresses me out. She's very much one of those HEY EVERYONE LOOK AT HOW FUNNY I AM kind of people. I'm not someone who wants all the attention, that's actually opposite of how I am. I just don't want to have to deal with her on a trip that's so special.
Can I tell her that I decided to just keep it super close friends? She's not my favorite person but I also don't want to hurt anyone's ffeelings. I just need to deal with this because whenever I think aout it I get anxiety
Sorry this was crazy long I feel like you girls are the only ones who would get this situation.
