bathroom basket spinoff

if you are getting married at a place that has more than one wedding at a time and there is only one bathroom, do you still do a bathroom basket?

i know it sounds stupid, but i don't want guests from another person's wedding using the bathroom basket for my guests.

what do you think?

My hall has more than one bathroom though.

I don't think I would, your guest probably wouldnt even realize you did it for them!

i went to a wedding that had more than 1 wedding at a time going on and there was a basket in there. I wasn't sure if it was provided by the RH or by one of the brides but i didn't want to touch it b/c i wasn't sure of whose it was and i felt bad taking something that might not be for us

i totally see where you're coming from. maybe call the RH and see what brides have done in the past?

HAHA nothing will stop the other guests...so probably the best thing to do is don't do one!

I wouldn't do one based on the fact that you don't want other people using them. Are the parties on different floors and therefore different bathrooms? Are you sure you'd have to share the bathroom?

I'm so glad my hall does one party at a time AND they supply the baskets - SCORE!

My venue provides them - so I never even thought about that.

there can be another party on my floor and there can be other parties downstairs.

i believe there is only one bathroom and that is on the ground floor. my guests have to go downstairs for the bathroom, which bothers me.

i'm going to have to call my banquet manager.

if there is more than one wedding I wouldn't do bathroom baskets. You could probably do one for your own personal bridal suite if you want and in case a guest might need something you can have the bridal attendant get it for them.

But usually when it's a hall that has more than one wedding at a time, they have actual bathroom attendants there with all that stuff.

THIS - the larger halls usually have that stuff in there so then you dont even have to worry about it. I also think they do it for this reason, brides wanting to have that stuff in the bathrooms put other weddings could use the stuff too.

LOL and you know what else is my fav, hall twin? That we don't have bathroom attendants! I HATE those people hanging out in there when you are trying to do your business! I'm pee shy! LOL

I'm not doing them. I was going to until I found out there is another party going on the same time.

and I have a feeling is a freaking sweet 16!
