So, I figure if I make things like a bathroom basket now, in 2 years FH husband can't talk me out of doing it because we have no money...I've been searching lists and lists, and came up with one huge list. I figured I'd share with you. If you have anything else feel free to add.

that sounds like an emergency kit, what in the world are your guest going to be doing at your reception!! no, i'm just kidding! the list sounds good. Will you have to share bathrooms with another event?

Then again depending on the RH they already have all of these necessities and your guests shouldn't have to tip since it is included in the 20% gratuity

LOL...I probably won't get ALL the stuff, but I needed some ideas. If I go with North Ritz, it's just one event. If I go somewhere else, and I have to share bathrooms, then I wont' do this.

Yea I agree....I might hold off if you don't have the RH yet bc a lot of places already have this. Mine does, so its one less thing to do.

oooh, the tide pen/shout wipes are a good idea!
I'm getting married at NRC where like you mentioned it's only one wedding, so we made bathroom baskets. I have a pic of them in my DIY album. However, I think some other halls might include some kind of basket, or have multiple weddings going on and multiple bathrooms in which case it might not be the best idea.
Also, some things might go stale between now and 2010 so I don't know how far in advance I'd put it together. We got the stuff for ours either in Jan or March (dont entirely remember) which was early but I'm OOT most of the time so that was a time when I was in NY
We had to cover them with plastic bags so they wont collect dust!
Maybe set aside funds earmarked for bathroom baskets instead? we got almost everything from the dollar store (some things we had in the house already)
