BBB sells many sample sized items also...but don't think I will do it either. Will see.

I wasn't, but my mom offered to do it. She's buying the cheap brand of everything, no sense in spending all that $ on the brand itmes.

I say if you make a basket, make it like a child's size easter basket and put in one tampon and a stick of deodorant and a trial size of hair spray. No one should need more. And what could guys possibly be using?

Unless your hall has only ONE wedding, I would not recommend doing it. We did really nice baskets for ours and everyone from the other wedding was just helping themselves to it. At one point, my niece was in the bathroom and some ignorant B!TCH from the other wedding took the card off the basket and said 'Who the H*E*L*L are Louie and AnaMarie???' and flung our card while continuing to help herself to a ton of gum and advil total trash.

I didnt do them and dont think they are imp.
Also if you are going to do them go to dollar tree they have tons you can use for $1.

I did mine I got the basket from micheals and the contents from walmart. All Im missing is the tide pen because they where out

I wasn't going to do it and then I lucked out and found out that Land's End does it for you. But even if they hadn't, I wasn't going to. There are 3 things I just resigned myself not to doing: (1) cry packs; (2) OOT boxes; and (3) bathroom baskets. CAN'T WIN 'EM ALL!!!

Joe doesn't think we should do them but from my experience when I go to a wedding I end up using some of that stuff throughout the night...I ended up getting the stuff at bed bath and harmon drug and it wasn't that pricey. It's annoying but I am just going to do it.

ITA...i always end up using something when i'm a guest, and for the $45 i spent i think its worth it!

I am so over all these little wedding costs- I think I am cutting out the bathroom baskets (or like Michele said- 1 tampon & hairspray) & the slipper baskets- I just dont have the $$ or energy for this anymore! I just want to go on my honeymoon already lol

i did them, people took EVERYTHING but the baskets. i couldn't believe it. Even in the mens room the basket was cleaned out!

i did them! people keep complementing me on then saying how cool it was...mostly i noticed the mints and gum were used as for the other stuff i am not even sure actually lol they are still at my moms!

nope! the last wedding we went to that had one, the kids were throwing tums at each other, and at the guys using the bathroom. those same kids were at my wedding, so that was definitely out!

Haha NO! They're pointless in my opinion, I've never been to a wedding that has had them and my wedding is not a club! No one really needs DEP gel and Calgon Body spray
