We just redid our bathroom - white tub, toilet, sink, and vanity. Light fixture and Faucet (with old-fashioned cross knobs) are in white & chrome. The floor is a retro white octagon w/ black dots (see photo)
What would you do in the bathroom? What color walls should we do with this? Artwork?
Any suggestions to get me going would be great - FH & I are at a STANDSTILL right now!

I would go bold - like a lime green or maybe a pumpkin-orange.
I would stick with the retro theme with the artwork...bold black frames with colorful, retro prints.

We just have a problem with paint color - we can NEVER agree at all!

You could always leave it white and just use paintings and accessories to bring out color..
=)
DEF check out Kohl's/TJ Maxx/Marshall's/home goods they have some beautiful pieces.. =)

If I had a digital camera, I'd show you! I've done a ton of painting and decorating, so I'll definately post pictures when I can to show off my hard work
But what I did with the bathroom is paint the walls white (it's a small bathroom that was originally painted a very dark color). The towels are red, I got a red fabric shower curtain, and bought cheap hammered chrome accents (tissue box, toothbrush holder...) from Marshall's or one of those stores. All I need now is some pictures or decor for the walls....

I did the same thing, have an all white 1/2 bath and we used cranberry & gold accessories that I got (on sale ) at JC Pennys, and some towels to match. I am planning to use some vintage posters to tie in the colors on the walls, if I can ever get DH to pick them out. I had posted a few from Allposters.com a day or so ago, if you want ideas. They have a great selection.

Choose a color that goes with your skin tone! You don't want to do your makeup in a room that makes your face look awful.
