Battery Gardens

I am thinking of having my wedding at Battery Gardens next spring. Any feedback/pictures/pricing info., etc. will be greatly appreciated.

I looked at Battery Gardens because it's very close to my house. We didn't go there because the evening weddings were too expensive ($200 or so a head), and they catered to the evening parties. For example, as an evening wedding you get to choose when you want your wedding to start, which is nice, but that means that if someone picked their 'evening' wedding to start at 6pm, the afternoon weddings have to be done by 4 :(

We decided that their afternoon schedule was horrible, and they were not willing to work with us for fear of losing an evening wedding.

I went with Fox Hollow. At some point I had to compromise something... I wanted a lot of people, and that means $$. So I could either have the wedding in Manhattan and cut the guest list down by 70.... or pick LI and have everyone I want in a location that is OK, but certainly not my first choice.
