I have recently posted a thread about a 200.00 hair pin item that was on my bill. This is the story.. When I originally found my dress at BAYSHORE BRIDAL I was excited... I all ready had a pic with me of how I wanted my hair I showed the woman who was helping me she took copies of the pic 'I can order you a few sets that are very similar to the ones in the pic' Blushing Bride ' sure go ahead' Sales woman ' you can pick the one you like once they are in. Blushing Bride 'OK' ring me up. So I put down 50% deposit. (including the 200.00 for hair pins. Now my dress came in !!!! They never called to let me know the hair pins were in for me to look at and choose the one I liked so... I got hair pins someplace else...

so my dress is in.. I called to see what is my next step....come in 1 month before the wedding for a fitting ok.. ME:ALso there is a 200.00 charge on my bill for hair pins I would like them removed. Sales woman :I can not do that only the MANAGER can do that. ME: Can I talk with her Sales Woman: SHe is not in today. You can call back tomorrow.
OK SO now I think something is up. I call.... MANAGER : Oh NO sorry we CAN NOT REMOVE the hair pins.. We placed a special order for them. ME: (in my Head) WHAT !!!!! Manager:Yes they have been in for a few months now

Hello they never called me to tell me they were in that is 1st 2nd I was never told they were placing a special order and I had TO buy them I have not even looked at them
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MAD
I did not say anything because they have my dress. I don't want them to do anything to it

Ew tell that woman that you thought she was placing an order for you to see different hair pins..that you were not aware you HAD to buy them. If you paid with your credit card, I would dispute it.

well Ihave to make my final payment when I pic up the dress. I have decide I will not call back just yet myself I will have my mom call and explain 1st and see where that will get me

Call them back when you have a moment and explain the situation. There should be absolutely no problem with crediting your card. Explain just what you posted here. I don't see why your Mom should have to call. You're 100% in the right. Also, I doubt that they will do anything to your gown. Good luck. I hope everything works out.

The woman Mary Ellen did the same thing to me with my veil. She put on the order I could change it if I didnt like it when it came in. And when I went in to try it on when it came in I asked if the veil was in too ..they said NO it hadnt come in yet. So I said then I dont want it take it off the bill. Then Maryellen ( who would not help me when I came in for the fitting until I said I wanted the veil off the bill) then she said ' Oh no the veil is here!' And when I saw it I loved it but wasnt keen on paying $300 for it. But after that whole episode I refused to do my alterations there. Plus another bride that was there said if I knew of a tailor or someone who did alterations to take the dress and run...SHe was having nightmares with the woman there. So I did. Instead of paying $400 for my bustle, straps adjusted and hemmed I paid $100 to a tailor at my local dry cleaners and my dress was perfect. I dont so much not like the Bayshore Bridal suite as i do not like Maryellen, she is sweet as pie until youorder your dress then she wants nothing to do withyou and is a real Biotch. The other woman Mary is a doll though.

Mary ellen that is the woman i talked with SO I got a hellow to hem alteration...Do I need anymore alterations????
I am going to have to make an apt to go down I also want to make sure it is the correct dress > I order the one with color and am now afraid it will be the all white one.
SO did you talk the veil?????

I bought it and hated paying the $300 when I saw it on eBay for $25 but I was so fed up and wanted my dress out of there that I paid the remainder and will never go back for anything!!!!! Or recommend them because of her. WHat sux is they make you sign that contract which is your bill too and even though you think you have the option to change or cancel the order they figure out how to get you to pay anyway. Or at least Maryellen is like that. SHe really is a nasty, connivying woman.

thanks so much. I am so sorry to hear that the same thing happend to you also. I will try and put a stop to this.. it is just not right
