I say thank you. My church is in Bay Shore and I am looking for a place for the RD. You rock. Thanks.

I say wow. This is best smorgasboard of Bay Shore restautrants I've ever seen. Allow me:

Aji 53 Japanese Cuisine - New, getting rave reviews.

Captain Bills - Good seafood, nice view during the day.

Chowder Bar - good chowder, if you can believe it.

Cool Water Grill - bar is better than the food.

Declan Quinn?s - Known for its ghetto location and 3 fers. If you're in the mood for man appetizers, it's good.

fatfish - Yummy. Nice locale.

Forum Diner - Recommend only btwn the hours of 1am-8am. Go for the Hobo Delight.

Molly Malone?s - Cougar bar.

Milk & Sugar Cafe - Nice place for the ladies.

Mitsui Japanese Restaurant - Pass, if you want sushi go to the 1st place listed.

Nicky?s Clam Bar - eh. Total snack bar complete with plaid tablecloths and paper plates.

The Nutty Irishman - you might feel like a cougar here, this place gets young.

Peninsula Oriental Cuisine - Chinese, check plus.

Siam Lotus Thai Restaurant - in da hood, but if you like Thai, this is a good restaurant.

Smokin? Al's - come hungry. If you're a vegetarian don't bother. Quite possibly the best BBQ place on the island. Expect a wait.

The LakeHouse - A place to take DH. Romantic, nice setting. Upscale, gamey menu. Think Duck.

T.J. Finley?s - total Irish pub. If you want Irish fare, I recommend Molly's.

The Pie at Salvatore?s - Awesome flat bread pizza.

Tula Kitchen - one of my favorites. Wholesome, comfort food. Vegetarians love it. Try the white sangria. She only sells it by the glass b/c it gets you totally toasted.

WOW, Bay Shore has some good restaurants!

KO's picks:
Aji 53 Japanese Cuisine
Tula
Smokin Als

Get dessert at Milk and Sugar.

Then grab some beers at TJ Finleys, hit the Nutty for some late night fun.

End the night at the Forum. 1 egg with french fries. Ask to sit in the smoking section.
