bayville scream park

is it good? scary? do people run after you, or just jump up and surprise you?

a few years back i went to headless horseman upstate and freaked myself out - not trusting anything....i really dont want to put myself in that situation again, lol

but DH's friends are going to bayville and asked us to go...i dont want to, he does

any feedback on the place?

thanks!

I've never been there but the Bayville fire deptartment haunted house is awesome!! The only thing is you are guaranteed to wait for at least a half an hour if not more but it's definitely worth it.

We went about 2 years ago, its nothing that bad, people jump out at you but not that scary, just makes you jump a little.

we went last weekend! there are 5 different things and we did 2 of them - the zombie pirates and bloodworth manor. on the drive there i was freaking out i really didn't want to go but dh made me so i was terrified we did the zombie pirates first and i almost shitt myself waiting in line. you walk through these doors it's outside going all over the minigolf course they have there. people jump out at you and some walk behind you and scare you that way but no one touches you or anything! there's a chain saw near the end but you can see him standing there so it's not a surprise or anything. there was a long line for bloodworth manor when we were done with the pirates so we went to the pirate pub and had some drinks while the line died down and i'm sooooo glad we did! i had 2.5 solo cups (like full cups haha) of wine and when we went through the manor i was growled and making scary noises back at the people that jumped out at me. if i wasn't drunk i probably would have cried - that one was much much scarier than the pirate one!!!!!!!!

it's also pretty pricey for a haunted house... it was $65 for dh and i to walk through 2 things that took 5 minutes each

eta: the lines are long and it's crawling with teenage punks! i yelled at some boys behind us because they kept elbowing me and one like full body bumped me trying to peak into the pirate thing you'll be fine! just have a few drinks before you go and tell dh he has to be the dd since he's making you go and you don't want to!

I went last year. It's scary. I don't think I would go back unless we went with a big group of people. People jump out, scare the &%$# out of you, follow you a little bit, hide against walls.... It was a bit much for me and haunted house was longer than I cared for.
