BBB Bridal Registry Return Policy

Can you still return gifts off your registry and get cash back? I see conflicting answers. TIA

But you wont get full price of the item if someone used a coupon. They will know this if it was off your regisrty. You'll get full price if you get store credit.

That is good to know - so if i don't want cash back and just want store credit should i just say it wasn't on my registry?

They ask me if I want store credit or cash back if it was taken off my registry.

I did store credit and told them not to take it off my registry.

I didnt even think of that. I just assumed you would have gotten the price of the item

I did....even if it was purchased with a credit card they were giving me cash back...it may depend on the store.

Re: BBB Bridal Registry Return Policy

I've had several experiences.

The first time they took the item purchased off my registry and offered me cash or store credit and the item not off the registry and gave me store credit. (Babylon Store)

When I went back to tag the item and the woman was talking to me about incentives and we were talking about returns she told me that their policy isn't to give cash back. I told her that wasn't my experience in Babylon and she said she was going to give them a call and I said it's ok I'm just going to give out my Macy's cards for my shower I don't want a registry here if the return policy isn't going to be consistent. She then told me that they're supposed to tell people they don't give cash back (and this was a manager!) in order to try to get them to take credit but if you are firm about wanting cash they can't tell you no because they don't want to lose the registry but please don't go to the store and say that she told me that. (Farmingdale Store)

Tonight I went to return two things that came in the mail (we can really use the extra cash right now) and a WEIRD thing happened. One scanned back no problem, the other thing they kept saying wasn't purchased off my registry. I insisted it was and offered to go home and get the packing slip that came with it when it was shipped to me from them as a gift off my registry. They then did an override but told me I could only have store credit. I told them to give it back to me and I'd go home for the packing slip to prove it to them but it was frustrating because it took about 15 minutes and in the end they were needed an override. The issue was that the sku that BBB sent me from their warehouse didn't match the sku for the item in the store. So it might be an old sku, the company might have updated it and they might be shipping the old units first or something but it was a big issue. Still they gave good customer service in the end and I walked out with cash for everything. (Babylon Store)
