bbq question

im having a bbq tomorrow for my FH bday and i ma having a beach theme. what types of drinks and dishes should i include? im having bascis..like a hero and buregrs and franks..but any festive touches you can thin of?? thanks

How about Dirt? It's a dessert - I don't have the recipe handy but it has crumbled Oreos on top and looks like dirt. I serve it in a beach pail with a toy shovel. Really cute. Maybe you can make it with crushed UH OH Oreo instead and make it look like sand.

Just an idea...

I know we registered for those pop trays at Crate and Barrel. I imagine that a large supermarket or CVS may have them in their seasonal aisle. Would jello shots work?

teresa..im going to look into that..someone i know once made a whole cake that looked like the beach....and july..im SO going to find them later! i have jello shots coming too ( :

i bought a bunch of beach pails for the salads...and frisbees to put chips in. im going to have toys around to play with. yeah, thats right, we;'re all in our 20's...lol i LOVE to play though!
