Alyssa, my doc gave me like a discount card. He said the people who make Loestrin will cover anything over $24/month out of pocket. Ijust had to have a card from him and register with it online. I honeslty havn't even looked at it yet but call you doc maybe you can get the same. If you are even interested. Seems the generic is working better for you anyway

ive been on loestrin for about 3/4 years, totally makes me crazy, total mood swings... it drives FH nuts!!! but no anytime soon so im just dealing. and i dont want my body to adjust to another pill. i asked my doctor about it and he said that its the lowest hormonal BCP. but ive been on a few others and dont remember being this crazy, emptional wreck. so i know its the pill.

I'm also on Microgestin. I still get cramps, but only for the first day of my period. My period is like clockwork....always on the second to last Tuesday of every month.
I also have mood swings, but I figured that was just me, lol.........maybe it's not
Oh and yea, I only pay $10

Laura, are you on the FE (with iron pills) or without?
it freaked me out to not have them b/c i've been taking them for 5+ years and they filled my Rx without them. i had them change the Rx for next time
