Is it bad to be on them for too long??? FH wants to try soon I started taking tthem at 17 I will be 27 in December???

Honestly that is all a myth - I have been on them that long as well..
My friend was on it for 10 years got off BC and got pregnant the next month and she is due now in March .... Dont worry

no i heard that was a myth YEARRRRRS ago. u should be fine, but i would go off them for a few months before trying to concieve, just so theres no drugs left in ur body when youre pregnant

FH and I are going to the GYN next week B/C it would be a High risk pregnancy

I've been on them for that long too. I never thought it was a good idea to be on them for that long but the dr says it's fine.

Actually the half - life of the pill isn't that long - that is why you take them daily (besides the other reason that each cycle contains different amounts of hormonal components) so you really do not have to worry about drugs being in our system. The reason why some get pregnant immediately after versus 6 months after just has to do with your own body's ability to equilibrate and restart its cycle and phases.
