Is it bad to be on them for too long??? FH wants to try soon I started taking tthem at 17 I will be 27 in December???

Honestly that is all a myth - I have been on them that long as well.. My friend was on it for 10 years got off BC and got pregnant the next month and she is due now in March .... Dont worry

its ok but they say to stop taking them at least 6mths before trying to get prego

I've been on BC Pills for 10 years now and I spoke about the same issue w/my GYN a couple of months ago. She advised me that it's not bad at all that I've been on them for so long. She said that when I want to start trying, to go in and talk to her and she said that more then likely I will have no problems getting prego.
You should mention it to your GYN next time to verify everything.
