Bday Celebration Ideas - NYC

My DH is turning 30 on friday and I wanted to do something fun for him. It's just the 2 of us. I'm having a surprise party for him on Saturday but I still have to do something for his actual bday - any suggestions?

Definitely dinner somewhere - preferably a steakhouse and then what??

for my fh....we would go play lazer tag. I belive theres a place in times square area.

My guy is video game fanatic so I would do that or go to an arcade

For dinner, you might want to try Cite - They have a $69 prix fixe that includes unlimited wine and champagne - or Churrascaria Plataforma (there's one in Tribeca and one in the theater district) which is unlimited MEAT!

Afterward, maybe a show? Salsa dancing? Jazz at the Birdcage? You could set up a bar tour for just the two of you ( )...see if there are any free concerts in the park... Mostly Mozart festival at Lincoln Center...movie?...glass of champagne at the Soho Grand?

I second Cite although its usually better for large groups. For steak, Dylan Prime is great. We also love Strip House and Uncle Jack's.

For asia de cuba, you really need to like asian fusion though - not much on the menu for more conservative eaters :)

I have reservations for the Strip House. Not sure what to do after dinner though
