This is totally insane. I would NEVER use the CB after reading that they treated one of us like this. (JMO- no offense to brides who already booked the place).
Vendors need to learn that we no longer just talk to our family and 'friends' we now use the Internet and discuss our weddings in detail.
I NEVER hide or feel bad when I make a comment. My screen name is known to many vendors and that is fine with me. I post the truth- and so did you. You did the RIGHT thing.
I would call the OWNER, not manager, of the CB and discuss this situation. Then I would call around and get some other prices. Why take a chance at this place. Yes, they have to uphold a repution but you were treated like a child. That is NOT acceptable.
I hope that they are reading the board now. That idiot employee will now know how much more harm he did. And why treat some brides special- aren't we all special. I could see it your Mom worked there or something, but just to decide that some deserve free or extra seems unfair to me.
Thank you for being truthfull and honest. None of us should do anything less.

obviously if they have to read all our posts they cant be so wonderful
the purpose of the bd is for us to help each other and give opinions on the vendors we have seen and are using, you can write whatever you want. I think they might not have too much business if they have to time to read all these posts and then call you
