Be Careful

It's so sad that people cant keep what's said on here confidential and instead do whatever it takes to start drama.

FH's sister just emailed him saying that someone informed her that I am talking crap about his family on here. I'll admit, I have vented some stuff...but really nothing I wouldnt say to them if they asked. And I was really just using this site to get opinions and vent my frustration w/o making FH nuts about it.

I guess that's impossible b/c some people have nothing better to do than start drama. I'd love to know who did it. My instincts tell me it's not a 2010 bride...but who knows.

Anyway...just a reminder...be careful

Well, he was asleep when the email arrived. It went to his myspace...which he always tells me to check for him. When he woke up at 3 am I told him...and he didnt seem to care. But he was also 1/2 sleeping. But he's not one to really react. I explained everything and he doesnt seem mad at me. He said it's a bride site...his family shouldnt even be seeing it since they arent brides

That's what I thought. I am usualy pretty factual...with some of my feelings included. I cant even get upset about it. I've always known they hated me,so does this even make a difference? I didnt say anything rude, so not sure what anyone is upset about. It's just very disheartening that you cant be open and share your feelings without someone intentionally trying to get you in trouble. I wouldnt have minded if she came across it on her own -- but obviously someone I dont know went out of their way to start drama.

Most of my posts were expressing hurt feelings - so not sure how anyone would be offended. I didnt bash them as people...just stated how FH and I are treated.

Best advice I ever received 'don't say anything you wouldn't want on the cover of a newspaper!'

We should follow that advice here.

Totally agree! But I guess it is a public forum. I just think people should be less catty and not intentionally go out of their way to report what you are writing.

But on the other hand, if I saw something posted negatively about a family or friend, I would tell that person b/c I don't want anyone talking about me behind my back. I know they would tell me if someone was talking about me behind my back. So we have to remember all sides of the story.

It happened to me once before too...I cant say how it happened anymore (if you want to know fm me) and after that I kept my mouth shut for a while...But now its starting again so I pulled majority of my info off of here again....

Im sorry you have to deal with this...I know how it feels and it really does s*ck

I can see that side. I just think most people go on here wanting advice on how to deal with situations and sometimes just need an ear tol listen when someone is upsetting them. If I went on here and said they were rotten and started airing all their personal crap...then I could see someone running back. But when you are just discussing how you feel about the family not caring about your wedding (when they really dont..it's not a news flash)...it's not even worth stirring up more trouble.

But I see your point. So just warning others to be careful...if you think there is a remote chance someone will see it. Anything you say can get twisted.

that really stinks that you have people checking what your writing on here and telling the people what you wrote. But thats the one bad thing about this site-it is a public forum and anyone can read it. Im sorry

Oh that is horrible and now i'm sure it will be all awkward the next time you see his sister.......i hope it doesn't turn into some big drama. Don't worry, it will all work itself out and you have other more important things to worry about.....Good Luck!
