Be careful about switching BC before the wedding

I bought a corset dress so I wouldn't have to worry about weight gain/loss before the wedding. About 2 months ago I order my slip and my bra for my dress (neither are adjustable). Well about this time I also decided to go on depo birth control because it stops you from having a period at all. I thought this was wonderful... until last night when I realized I gained about an inch and a half in my waist (in 2 months!!!). I don't fit either my slip or my bra and neither are returnable! I have about a month until my wedding, but I'm leaving in about 3 weeks because I'm driving to NY from CA. So there's pretty much no way I can lose it in time. Plus the birth control doesn't wear off for another few weeks.

Luckily, I have a corset dress, so I don't have to worry about the dress fitting. Thank God! I just have to replace the undergarments. I just wanted to warn everyone. I knew depo caused weight gain in some girls, but I've taken it before with no problem (even lost about 15 lbs one summer while I was on it). So just talk with your dr. before switching to see if there's a chance of weight gain, and don't take the chance.
