be honest..

Original post by jgl

Isn't this website here in part to ask for peoples opinions? I always try to be nice but at times i think the whole protecting oneself on here gets out of hand.

It is unfortunate that people can be so sensitive that we (and by we I mean me too) feel the need to HAVE to write JIMO, or IMO, or thats just what I did, but you should do what you want. Or saying something is nice when you don't like it at all.

If I ask an opinion about a dress I like or etc... please just be honest. I'm asking because I need someone to say its terrible and couldnt imagine anyone wearing it. Or that is really cheesy and you should not do that. haha

Thanks

I actually just did this on BHB...someone asked if it was tacky to do something and not proper etiquette. I was the only one so far who said that it's not the right thing to do.

I chose not to respond to it, b/c I think it's ok to give as an informal, I did, but I think traditional stationaty would be best

I think I'm just going to start the New Year off being un-pc and giving people a piece of my mind...

Examples of things we've wanted to say, but never had the balls:

'Actually, I think your make-up trial makes you look like a giant whorebag'

'You spent that much money on that HIDEOUS dress?! How did that thing even make it to a runway/bridal shop?!?'

'That centerpiece is nice....if it were medevial times, and I was looking forward to eating massive turkey legs'

'Wow, you're being a total b*tch. It would be really nice if you stopped flaunting your (insert expensive-dress, expensive-venue, expensive-car......etc). Some of us aren't as fortunate, and would appreciate it if you kept your bragging to a minimum. Oh, and find some class.'

'Your engagement pictures/wedding pictures are really awful. Who was your photographer so I WON'T book with them?'

'You're giving that out as a favor?! Wow, another useless object that would find its way to the trash'

'Yes, the dress does make your @ss look huge.'

SOOO FUNNY!!!!!!!

You are absolutely right especially when people are asking for an opinion.

I promise to always be honest...although sometimes I dont reply if its a choice of two items and I dont care for either. hey I may have a different taste then someone else.

Just being honest! Ha ha!!!!
