be honest..

Isn't this website here in part to ask for peoples opinions? I always try to be nice but at times i think the whole protecting oneself on here gets out of hand.

It is unfortunate that people can be so sensitive that we (and by we I mean me too) feel the need to HAVE to write JIMO, or IMO, or thats just what I did, but you should do what you want. Or saying something is nice when you don't like it at all.

If I ask an opinion about a dress I like or etc... please just be honest. I'm asking because I need someone to say its terrible and couldnt imagine anyone wearing it. Or that is really cheesy and you should not do that. haha

yeah exactly, in situations people ask for an opinion on a certain thing and i really dont like it, i just dont say anything. Many people get upset, but when you ask for opinions on a MB you should expect not everyone to LOVE it

Totally feel what youre saying, thats why if i dont agree i either dont post or i'll say something generic like 'good for you' or 'good luck'

I totally understand what you mean, even on the e-party thread i felt like i was walking on egg shells since i dont believe in them - its like being afraid someone is going to attack you for your opinion

I think I'm just going to start the New Year off being un-pc and giving people a piece of my mind...

Examples of things we've wanted to say, but never had the balls:

'Actually, I think your make-up trial makes you look like a giant whorebag'

'You spent that much money on that HIDEOUS dress?! How did that thing even make it to a runway/bridal shop?!?'

'That centerpiece is nice....if it were medevial times, and I was looking forward to eating massive turkey legs'

'Wow, you're being a total b*tch. It would be really nice if you stopped flaunting your (insert expensive-dress, expensive-venue, expensive-car......etc). Some of us aren't as fortunate, and would appreciate it if you kept your bragging to a minimum. Oh, and find some class.'

'Your engagement pictures/wedding pictures are really awful. Who was your photographer so I WON'T book with them?'

'You're giving that out as a favor?! Wow, another useless object that would find its way to the trash'

'Yes, the dress does make your @ss look huge.'

Sometimes I will be honest. When it comes to dresses for example then no if i dont like it i wont say it, but that is different, everyone has different taste so whatever. But when it comes to something i think might be wrong to do at your wedding or not proper then i will say it. But i will be nice about it lol

this is histerical and SOOOOOO TRUE!!!!!!!!...The favor thing i agree with, the stop flaunting thing i agree with, you can say certain things but OMG theres someone who only posts about how much they spent and will always say yeah it was really expensive, its so annoying. They cant give any advice without saying how they spent soooo much money, seriously NOT ONE POST!!!! its soooo annoying.
