Beach Themes

my sisters wedding was this past August, I'll add pics as soon as she gives me the disc-sorry! here are some ideas from it

STD's: picture of the word love written in sand with a starfish next to it, and some foam from the ocean with thier names and the date of the wedding in the corner (on top of the picture)-it was a magnet, I don't explain it well. vendor-favorlady

Ceremony was on the beach.

sand ceremony replaced unity candles. (bought sand ceremony off ebay)

pew bows had sea shells in the center. (ebay)

girls all went barefoot on the sand (including the bride)

the invitations were white with raised seashell border (also white, but kinda pearlized) with an ocean blue ink. vendor: American Wedding

centerpieces were candles with sea shells on them inside hurricane lamps. Gurney's supplied the hurricane lamps-the candles were from sherrysellsseashells.com

favors were silver 6 inch dolphin bottle openers, the best price we got was from the favorwarehouse.com

placecards were written on white tent style placecards with blue/green gel pen, and they were stuck inside mini galvanized tin pails that were have filled with sand, on a table covered with sand and drift wood, and a mini light house. Gurney's supplied the table with driftwood and light house, we did the galvanized pails, and obviously, the cards...I don't remember where we got the pails, but I remember that there were a bunch of them on all different sites, most of which shown holding candy.

we bought small seashells in bags from michaels and had them spread around the hurricane lamps on the tables, it was a nice touch.

the wedding cake was sand colored, with chocolate sea shells all over it, and the cake topper was two starfish on top...this was also an ebay vendor....

I can't figure out how to make these pics bigger...hmmm....
