Beach wedding

Hi Ladies...I'm having a dilema. We are down to two venues - Crescent beach club and the sand castle. What I love everything inside sand castle but not outside, and crescent i love the outside hate the inside.

So I'm thinking of sand castle for the reception but having ceremony on the beach but i don't know how or where. Anyone have any suggestions?

def go Sand Castle!!
haha! (I'm biased)
I'm sure that you can get a permit to have a wedding on any beach for your ceremony though. Maybe contact the towns?

I considered this as well.. just be careful with your date! If you want a beach wedding, July 4th is not the best day to have one!!! Other than that, getting a permit should allow you to get married at any beach on the island.

if you are having a july 4 wedding, i would definitely go with the CBC. the sunsets there are absolutely out of this world. also if you are planning on july 4th, your guests can watch the fireworks show from the balcony off the reception room. The reception room really does look beautiful dolled up and they throw really great weddings... do not let bill turn you off from the place.. its a great spot!

Re: Beach wedding

It would be july 3rd at CBC or July 4th at SC. You know it just occurred to me this morning that even if I 'could' have a ceremony on the beach - the traffic would be unbelievable.

SC blew me away with decor and set up and food. I'm dealing with Loula who is wonderful.

Haha Bill is great - but comes off a bit cocky and like a car salesman. I'm concerned that the food isn't going to be great there and there's not an opportunity to taste until 2/18. By then my date with SC could be gone.

The other thought I had was doing it all at SC and then going to the beach the following day to get pictures. Just not sure if that is going to be more hassle than it's worth. I don't want to see my FH before the cermony.
