beach wedding aisle runner??

beach wedding aisle runner??

as i just announced last night, i'm back to help my cousin plan a key west beach wedding.

she's still oh a high from the proposal, last night, so i'm getting started with the details.

gotta love planning a wedding!!!!!

give me your two cents....

can a 'regular' aisle runner be used on the beach?

i have lots of extra from my wedding and i thought i could personalize one for her.... ONLY if it didn't look stupid.

please give brutally honest opinions.

i think it would be hard to walk on an aisle runner on the beach? How about lining the aisle with large and small shells? or hurricane lamps with seaglass maybe..

I didn't use an aisle runner cause i was on grass...but lined the aisle with garden hooks and capiz shell windchimes...that's an idea (pics in albums & review)

ETA: i also like gerbera daisies lining the aisle...see pic

that's why i wask asking. i thought it might be a fall waiting to happen. then again, he just popped the question and i don't know where the wedding will be... so if the ceremony is not on sand, i still have a chance to make something.

i can't believe i'm so excited for her!!!!!

i saw your pictures. wow! what a beautiful wedding!!!!!

thanks! Everyone i know is already married I wish i could help plan a wedding..haha.

I was originally going to do a runner...and laid it out on my back lawn a few days before, and realized the 'danger' factor of it being on an uneven surface! Keep looking around this site & on the web and i am sure you'll come up with some great ideas for her!!

What if you used conch shells to line the aisle or something like that...or even seaweed (carefully placed of course!)
