Beaches near Selden?
Anyone know of any beaches near Selden? Does Sunken Meadow have a good beach?

Sunken Meadow was always fun when we were kids because it has a sand bar at low tide.

Sunken Meadow is north shore (like five mins from me Liz) so on the sound (no ocean waves).

You also have West Meadow in Stony Brook and Cedar Beach in Miller Place. I think both are free for Brookhaven Town residents.

I love west meadow-(we call it west ghetto- I am from there) b/c you can park and walk like 5 feet and be in the sand-
but bring a chair- b/c of the rocks!
