Beachy feel?

Beachy feel?

Hi everyone!!!!!!

My fiance and I got engaged early this month and we have been to MANY places in hopes that it will be what we want. We visited all the outdoorsy/beachy feel places that we could..I hope. Most places do not have many dates available for July 2011. We are not opposed to a Sunday night, we just want it to be perfect. I am having such anxiety over it. Our top choice has an outdoor ceremony area and we do like the alternative if the weather does not cooperate, but the overall place is a more catering hall feel, which we didn't fully want.

Can you make a closed room feel beachy?

which places did you look at? i went to giorgio's and coincidentally the day my appointment was, another wedding was set up to start in a couple hours... they had beach centerpieces on all the tables, and since there are so many windows in the ballroom, it wasn't so indoorsy-ish that you couldn't have an outside, beachy feel.. especially with the centerpieces and the choice of colors! so, i definitely think it's possible. especially if you're looking at a location that is on/near water.

of course you can have a beachy theme. There are SOOOOO many favors and decorations for beach themes.

Try Ebay, the knot, oriental trading, and ive seen really cute beach themed invites too!

Land's End in Sayville is on the beach. I loved it there.

Good Luck

Our RH is the Crescent Beach club. I'm having the reception outside on the deck and using the ceremony area as the dance floor since our ceremony will be in a church. I'm really excited because we were originally going to get married overseas and this gives us the destination wedding feel on long island.

Thank you so much ladies!

Our problem when it comes to a lot of venues is availability.

I am going to research beach themes tonight!
