You need to keep the crate small enough so that she doesn't have room to lay down and pee in a corner. It needs to be as small as she is w/ no extra room to go to the bathroom. They don't like to pee where they sleep or eat.

Thanks for the advice, I guess my little Daisie is hopeless, he has no room and yet she still has accidents.

How long are you keeping the puppy in the crate between potty breaks?? Young puppies can only keep it in for a few hours.

This is true too. We only left Chewie for 3-4 hours in there before letting him out to go.

I have a beagle pup!!!

He wet his crate at night alot and then finally he just stopped. I think it takes a while for them to be able to hold it.

Lemme know if yu have any other questions. My little guy is 8 months old now.

Daisie is five months now. She does not wet teh crate when I leave her for about five hours. But she gets up at about 3 am all the time. It iskilling me.
I also have another question, did you have your dog fixed? If so how do you recommened we keep her weight down. They say after the proceedure they gain weight.

Fred is 4 pounds over weight. He is a VERY small beagle and the vet says he should be around 12.. he is 16.

I got him fixed at 6months and it did calm him don quite a bit. He only stopped wetting the crate I would say right after his nuetering.
