No tipping - they're generally not allowed. It's 'suggested' that you buy one-two things though.

no tipping, but you should buy something.
I went to Lancome, didn't tip but spent almost $300. I may do my wedding day makeup myself, with the products that I buy from going on trials. Then I will have makeup for other occasions!!!!! Also, the $300 at Lancome got my what I need to get through 3 weddings that I have to attend this summer.

They won't take the tip - some places - Bobbi Brown i think - require you to buy items
