beauty help (picky bride here!)

Ok, so I had my second make up trial. I went to Bergdorf Goodman and had a trial with this woman who was patient and very sweet. I was loving it .... but now I am having second thoughts. It looks good, but I feel like I can do this job just as good as she did it. I wear make up every day. She wants to charge me $900, for the entire day. By the time I got home the lipstick was gone. I would have to purchase some of the products, and I am just thinking that I can find someone else. It is not just the money, it s the fact that I am not thrilled and it is less than an hour after. I look pretty and I am sure that on the day it would work, but I still have to find someone to do my hair, and I feel like I could work with her to be 100% happy but right now I am just not.

Do I go with it or do I keep looking?
If you are picky with makeup and finally found the perfect makeup AND hair people...
please send me FM with people you had success with and numbers to contact them with.

Also anyone that I really have to stay away from. I would prefer people who are able to travel to me at the location of my wedding on that day.
Thanks for all your help... I am so discouraged!

if you arent happy, then $900 is way too much to pay, IMO.

for $900 that makeup should look fresh and last more than 12 hours! Even if I were thrilled, I'd consider that too expensive but if you aren't even thrilled, I agree that you shouldn't pay that much.

I really think that $900 is way too much! I think alot of people mistake 'Exited Brides' as 'Suckers' that will pay ridiculous amounts of money because they know that we're all excited & want everything to be perfect. And also, for $900 your lipstick should have lasted until you went to bed! I'd keep looking. Good luck! I'm sure everything will work out for ya. Ouch, $900 is alot if you are feeling its not going to last and you arent 100% thrilled with it.......

My attitude is, if you're not thrilled, you should find someone else regardless of the money. This is your wedding and you should be happy w/ the way you look.
