literally though, as in for total serious FH knows I will never be without a dog. we will always always always have a dog. when our chewbaby is no longer we will allow a suitable time for mourning and then go out to the shelter and find a new baby in need of a home. my children will be raised around dogs from birth! non-negotiable.

Agreed! DH knew all this before we even got engaged. The day after we moved into our apartment together- the VERY next day- we went to North Shore and adopted Irwin. And I told him then that if we ever broke up Irwin was mine no questions asked!
