Ok I know the other day some said the rumors about bed bath and beyond were false, but check out this email I just got: Let me know what you think

The following companies just filed for Bankruptcy:

Hollywood Video
Levitz
Sharper Image
Performance Team Freight
Linens n Things
Circuit City
Bed, Bath and Beyond

If you have gift cards from the above list use them ASAP, they will not
be valid for much longer.

For some reason I do not believe the BBB rumor only because I think they say BBB right away because Linen and Things is owned by BBB. So I know that Linen Things is true. But I do not think BBB is. It really is scary what is going on.

I got the same e-mail and I heard BBB wasn't going out just Linens and Things.

Hey Girls I found these two sites that both confirm BB&B has not filed bankruptcy, it is in fact their competitor Linens N' Things who was going to but then also did not file.

Bed bath & Beyond is a publicly traded company...you can search though Bloomberg and see that they are not going out of business and have not filed bankruptcy.

These are just rumors

in order for a company to file bankruptcy they must release it to the public. I just checked the SEC's website which is where it would be released to the public and the only thing they have filed with the government in may is a press release stating they are purchasing shares of another company.....
so they arent filing bankruptcy
