When I registered at Macy's, many months ago I added bedding.. For the past few months that it was on there the bedding I chose was 50% off. I was so happy because I had more of a chance of getting it considering I apparently have expensive bedding taste...
Anyhow I checked today and now that my mom is finally sending out shower invites my bedding is not longer 50% off.. and i highly doubt anyone is buying me a $300 comforter.. and if they do I would rather they just get me my dyson.. but totally not the point.
Do you think it will go back on sale?

It will in all likliihood go on sale. Thats my issue with Macys;; their sales are great but they go on and off all of the time- I hate when someone buys something off my registry and then the next day it goes on sale. I feel bad! The upshot is if you chose to return the item down the road you should get credit for the full price, rather than the sale price!
But dont worry--my comforter goes on and off sale all the time. I ended up putting two different ones on my registry... that are comparable.. it seems that when one goes on sale the other does not and vice versa.. so i figured one will always be on sale if someone wants to buyt that item for me.

yes, macys always has sales! Also, 4th of July is coming up so i'm sure they will have special sales and your guests can save some money.

probably, they actually are having a crazy home/bedding sale june 10-15 so tell your mom to spread the word! I might buy a new set myself bc i know shower invites arn't out yet!

It will probably go back on sale...just be really diligent with checking your registry actually logged in though, because the set I had picked out started saying limited quantities available, went on sale 50% off, now is back to full price, but is saying 'please select another item' because it was discontinued. Sometimes I think the sales start getting all wonky when they're trying to phase it out.

Aren't they so annoying? I registered there too and same thing happened. I kept telling my sister (MOH) to check out the sales etc. and they ended up getting me everything on sale. Macys is good with the sales all the time. So they should come around again.
