BedHead hair products

BedHead hair products

Does anyone use BedHead hair products? I like their gel, but I just got the curl enhancer and it sucks out loud! It's sticky and kinda smells musty, and it doesn't enhance my curls so much as stiffen them and make them unattractive.

Anyone have any suggestions for enhancing and curls? I usually just blow my hair out, but I want to go curly more often and I'm a spaz with hair products!

I didn't picture you curly...

You've ruined your image in my mind, I'm not sure we can be friends anymore...

I hate that BedHead stuff! I bought the gel stuff and the spray stuff for curls - they should call it SmellBadCrunchyHead.

I've tried every single curl-enhancing product on the market (I wish I was exaggerating ). There is some Redken stuff that is decent, but lately I'm really liking some cheapo Dep gel I got at Walgreens...

Re: BedHead hair products

I KNOW! I spent $15 for some weird sculpting goop. It actually smells good (coconutty) but it's SOOOO sticky and makes me look like a grease ball.

did that work?

How about this?

Re: BedHead hair products

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO picky about the smell & feeling of my hair products ... I seriously considered harey carey after Tresemme discontinued the anti-frizz spritz I used for longer than I can remember. The months following of trying a million things that all SMELLED or made my hair GREASY or STICKY ...

Anyway, moving on ... sometimesin the spring/summer when I don't spend 20 mins drying my hair only to look like I just rolled out of bed, I use this crap I got at CVS - Cristophe Hydrating Curl Balm and considering my pickiness factor, it's decent. (Note - HATED the straightening swill by them - sticky & smelly thank you very much).

I'll see if I can find that crap! The problem is I haven't had my hair cut in 6 months (because I'm lazy!) so to mask the disheveled-ness of my hair, I'm going curly more often.

And also, to annoy Farah.

That's soooo wrong (not getting it cut in 6 months, not the annoy Farah part).

Girls...just for your information, buy your hair products and makeup at Ulta cause even if you use it and don't like it, they give you your $ back w/ the receipt. I do it all the time when I don't like a hair product or makeup.

Good tip... where is there and Ulta on the South Shore?

Wendy, I know, but I'm having stylist-trust issues!

Re: BedHead hair products

but they are cute monkeys!

Wendy--I have almsot needed therapy when hair care products I loved have been discontinued.

Notably:

Citre shine's hair creme

John Freida's ready to wear hair cream

Neutrogena's Clean Hair detangling condtioner
( my friend even wrote to the company on this one-- they said try their new stuff, I did- it sucked, moved on to Vo5)

Liz-dont' let Wendy harass you--I am at about 5 months myslef!

Why can't I see the monkeys???!!!

Okay, Liz, I guess you're cute enough, I'll be your friend.

And just to put in my 2 cents about the actual topic of this thread (I know that's unusual coming from me). I use no product on my hair - I had to borrow hair spray from my MIL recently because we were going to a party...and I frequently do not cut my hair for spans of 4 months or longer But then again, haircuts these days require a plane ride... This is probably why my hair looks like a$$...

OMG, when I was unpacking, mr Boots was all... 'What do you do with all these styling products!' My reply?

'Nothing. I just buy them.'

I usually don't put anything in my hair unless I'm going curly. And then, like I said... SPAZ!
