BedHead hair products

Original post by MonkeyLuv

Does anyone use BedHead hair products? I like their gel, but I just got the curl enhancer and it sucks out loud! It's sticky and kinda smells musty, and it doesn't enhance my curls so much as stiffen them and make them unattractive.

Anyone have any suggestions for enhancing and curls? I usually just blow my hair out, but I want to go curly more often and I'm a spaz with hair products!

The same time my Tresemme stuff stopped being made, Clinique stopped making my lipstick and Gap stopped making my jeans. I was very close to the ledge.

I get my hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks!!!! But I also love the girl who does my hair ... actually, as a person, she's only decent with my hair ...

Anyway, for daily blow drying use, I use this Clinique hair serum before I dry (but I think the directiosn are for after drying ... tough noogies). And then the curl balm on 'I'd like to look like I stuck my finger in an electric outlet' days. But I could easily have 20 products in the house that are not used.

Although, Timothy is a bit of a hair product collector as well ... I believe there are three products in the cabinet right now that are his ...

no salaons in london? or is their haircuttign ability equal to their food preperation abilty?

I looked at that quickly and thought it said saloons! I was thinking Saloons, you mean with fancy girls and card sharks?? Nope, not here...just pubs with drunken old men with rough accents

Anyway, like Liz I'm having stylist-trust issues. Although I don't know why...it couldn't get any worse

You should be thankful he has hair

Farah - you use NO hair products in your hair? You must have very well-behaved hair
My hair would look like Rosanne Rosanna Danna if I didn't use anything to control it.

Anyway, Liz, I just started using Ouidad's climate control gel. It's not as thick as regular gel (maybe it's more like a gelish lotion?) and it's not smelly either. It ain't cheap though!

Tresemme mousse and you should never blow dry curly hair!! Unless you are blow drying it straight.

Read the book 'Curly Girl' (sorry don't remember the author)... you'll never use shampoo again!! I don't agree with everything the book says (I still 'fight the curl' and blow dry my hair straight at least once a week) but alot of it has been really great advice...

Are you a no-poo girl? My sister is a low-poo girl, but my other sister is freaked out by the curly-girls!

KMS makes a salt-spray that works awesome on curly hair.

Bumble and bumble does as well but I can't attest to it as I've never used it.

ETA: I actually love bed head - I use mostly their shampoo...but have used their straightening/no frizz products - they smell great too.

I really like this product line.curlfriend

I also use the L'orel Studio Fix line. I start with Anti-frizz, then spray some pumping curls, add a little springing curls mousse and finish with a little more anti frizz. My hair is soft and curltastic.
