there is more to the term 'quality' than you may think...

Re: bedroom furniture
A lot of places carry great bedroom sets. I originally wanted a Thomasville set but it became discontinued so I wanted to order from a mfg that offered similar quality furniture. These were some mfg I looke dinto - there were a couple others I liked too but I can't remember all the names. Many of these carry low profile and sleigh beds.
-Thomasville -Ethan Allen -Stanley (that's what I got - saw it at Huffmann Koos but ordered from NC) -American Drew -Lexington

Re: bedroom furniture
Levtiz has a couple nice sleigh beds. We just ordered our set from Home Furnishing Galleries on ROUTE 110 in Farmingdale, they're a little $$$, but it's real hard wood, not veneers (sp?!) and dovetail construction, blah, blah, blah lol . The guy/owner who helped me, Mike was great. They had the ESPRESSO color with pewter knobs that we were looking for! don't know we were so knob-obsessed, but we weren't digging all the old school styles we were seeing! We found a lot of the bedroom furniture out there to be sooooooooooooo ugly and ornate--NOT US so when we found exactly what we were looking for, we went for it!

Re: bedroom furniture
I was wondering if the sleigh beds require a mattress and a box spring?
