You want to drink hot chocolate that really tastes like melted chocolate, try Jacques Torres' Chocolate Haven. They are across the street from my office (on Hudson and King St) and the hot chocolate is so rich you can't drink a whole cup.

OMG I am almost done with my Jacques Torres hot chocolate tin. It was alot of $ but sooo definately worth it.

Okay, I finally got around to trying this over the weekend and suprisingly, I wasn't impressed. It could be because the barista got snotty with me when I dared to pronounce Chantico wrong (oh, god forbid!) and then 'warned' me that it was in a 6oz cup - like I couldn't read the big sign on the menu that said 'Available in 6oz only'. Then the guy who makes the drinks didn't know how to make it and looked at me like I was nuts for ordering it.....

Aside from those tools - I wasn't really as thrilled about it as I thought I would be. It was really rich and just tasted like I was drinking 20 hot chocolates all in one cup. I don't even know how much it cost since it was DH's treat but I'm sure it was over priced, so I won't be trying that again..... Oh yeah, later that night I made Ghiradelli hot chocolate at home and it tasted JUST LIKE CHANTICO!!!
