I get to choose 2 bottled beers - what should I choose? Also do you think 2 choices is enough or should I add a third (maybe low cal/carb option) for an additional $3pp?
thanks

Re: Beer Question
Is there a list of choices?
For a light beer I would go with Amstel Light. Great taste and only 5 carbs.

Re: Beer Question
If they really like beer, heineken and amstel light seem to be popular. Just make sure you provide a light and a regular. I wouldn't bother with the 3rd choice, if they don't like at least 1 of the 2 beers you choose, they probably don't really like beer.

Re: Beer Question
Bud is usually a popular one. For some reasons, everyone I know drinks Heineken and Amstel now. We had our hall throw in Guiness too when we were negotiating the contract.

Re: Beer Question
beer was a big deal for me... my hall said they provide premium, but i had to ask since every hall seems to have a different meaning for premium...premium for them was coors and bud....so we'll have that, but in addition we ordered that heinekens and amstel lights are a must have at the wedding....

See, I am a beer drinker and can't stand heineken & amstel lt
Go by your guest list - do you know what they drink? But I would try to include a regular beer & a light beer and maybe make one an import.
ETS - I am not suggesting having a dozen beers to keep everyone happy. For instance, I know that if we offered a dark beer, light beer, regular beer and an import we would have our beer drinking bases covered

Re: Beer Question
I think amstel light, heineken, sam adams, corona, and any domestic would be safe choices. Personally, I hate all of them, but i'm a beer snob.

I can't stand Heineken either and don't know too many people who can. We're having Bud, Coors Light and Corona.

I love Newcastle and Boddington too! Never tried Bass. McSorley's will do in a pinch. FI loves Sierra Nevada, but try as I might, I just can't get into it.

Which beers are from Maine? I'm sort of a beer snob too!
I love Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and the Brooklyn Brewery's East India Pale Ale.

I love Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and the Brooklyn Brewery's East India Pale Ale. Shipyard, Geary's, Gritty McDuff's, Seadog, Allagash, Bar Harbor, Stone Coast, Sebago Brewing...... There are literally hundreds but these are the better known breweries. BTW: I love sierra pale. It's my old standby when I'm out of town. Do you like any by Saranac? I try to stock up when I'm in NY!
