Does anyone have any recommendations for a photographer with a decent package under $2K? Im looking for a photojournalistic package with color and B&W.

check out Twelfth Night photography! They can DEFINITELY do that price. All their quotes are w/o album but they will recommend places to order one from.

Tom Weis is slightly north of 2K without the album option. I will be using the negatives to create my own album...

We are going with an actual photojournalist rather than a wedding photographer. You don't have to pay the overhead and you own your proofs and negative outright. Then we can make our own albums. I would suggest looking for the same thing to keep costs low.

For photography only? I would suggest Duet because I am paying about $4k for photography AND video so maybe they will be in your price range. Plus I know they are doing photojournalistic work in my album, I think as many pictures as I want can be digitally enhanced. I am going back on Wednesday to settle a few more details. Do you want me to ask anything?
