Before we sign...

FH and I are 99% positive that we're going to go with Imagine Studio's for our photographer.

Lia just sent me the contract but before we sign I want to see if you guys think anything is missing.

• Complete Wedding Day Coverage- Lia will be main photographer
• 1- 12x 12 or 10x15 Digital album with 50 images
• 2- 5x7 ,2- 8x10 & 1- 11x14 - Portraits
• TY cards
• Complete Set of Proofs
• Complete set files of DVD on completion of album
• Complete set of files displayed on private website

Video
• Complete camera coverage of ceremony and reception
• Soft Lighting
• Wireless microphones
• One Cut Edid copy on DVD

Video isn't our #1 priority.


Is she missing something? It just seems like we'll be paying X amount of dollars and not getting much.

I think it matters what your X amount of dollars are because we're getting more than that but we also may be paying more so I'm not really sure.

ETA - if you want to send me a FM with the price I will tell you what I'm getting for what I'm paying.

No parent albums. FH might want 1 for his family but I know my Mom is okay with one of the 5x7's to put in a frame.

Lia would be our main photographer and she's coming w/ an asst. and her husband will be doing the video for us. I also want her to put all of this on the contract.

FH made an appt. w/ her and is going to go over everything one more time, it just seems like for the amount of money we're not getting much so I figured I'd ask you guys.

Make sure you have everything in the contract that you spoke about. If she said that 2 other people will be there then it should say that two other people will be there. It should say the name of the photographer in the contract.

I hate to say it but you can not go on anyones word. You have to have everything in writing!

Friend got married last year. She added the following to her contract:

The price of any additional pictures that might be added to her album or albums when placing the order, would be the same price as originally quoted. For instance, she had 100 pictures for her album and has ordered 114. The parents ablum originally had 50 pictures im their album. They are ordering 65 now and the price is the same as when they signed the contract. The photographer cannot come back and charge them a higher price.

hmmm....some things a photog we met with included were:

-Save the dates
-engagement shoot
-parent albums
-80 photos in a digital album
