Being a Kid...

Re: Being a Kid...

i told all the kids they were going the wrong way during a fire drill in 1st grade. 5 days suspension and the fire marshall came and talked to me and my parents.

I caused chaos. kids were turning around and bumping into each other, then pushing and screaming. boy, kids are dumb.

umm...well...lets see...I was suspended 7 TIMES in 1st grade. lol. My mom didn't think it was funny..but my dad did. lol

I used to do 'experiments' in the toilet bowl when we lived in Queens. a whole box of Mr Bubble in the tank makes a LOT of bubbles btw. and its even funnier when your Mom freaks out and keeps cleaning it and then flushing it and MORE bubbles come out....and more bubbles..and MORE BUBBLES!

That's hilarious....and I'm tempted to try it

when i was like 5 i really REALLY wanted bangs so my mom took me to the hair salon and had them cut for me.
like 2 months later, i was tired of them and wanted to get rid of them right away.
i don't know where i found them, but i found a pair of sissors and cut off my bangs. as in, all you saw was stubble where my bangs used to be. after i was done, who knows, maybe i thought it would look better when i finished? i showed my mom, crying hysterically! she took me to the hair salon like 5 minutes later than they had to cut a new layer of bangs from the hair that was still behind it. It covered the damage i had done earlier but i was crying even harder because i had bangs again.

when I was young i would say first, purple, turkey any Ur sound a little different (still do)... the teachers would always send me to speech and they would send me right back b/c it wasnt a speech problem. One day a teacher said. ...'you aren't from Levittown are you' I replied---' No of course not!!! I'm from wantagh!!'..... (its a mile away)!!

I also was young and the T in liberty travel didnt light up-- and i thought it said library travel... i told my mom we had to go there so I can take out a book to take on vacation because we were traveling

My dad has no patience so growing up I would be in the car with my dad and he would beep the horn and yell out a**hole. Well I was about 2 and in the car with my parents and family friends. My dad beeped the horn and I yelled out nashhole my version of the other word. They couldn't stop laughing. My parents still bring it up to this day!

when I was 6, my brothers and I were playing on those colorful plastic cube playground thing, and my brother said he could fly, so I pushed him off to see if he could. Yeah, he couldn't...and I broke his collarbone.. oops!!!

also, when I was 6 (i was a destructive child i guess lol) I went into the crawlspace in my attic and wanted to have a tea-party on the pink panther insulation foam that was covering the floor with my friend (ironically she's my MOH)). We sat down and started playing when we both fell through. No broken bones, no sprains, no cute or blood. It's so funny to think back about it now, and I know she is going to bring it up in her speech at the wedding LOL
