Making chocolate lollipop favors for a friend's party...I am making such a mess...and if FH doesn't keep eating them, I'm going to have to go buy more chocolate!!
I was thinking of making choc. lollipops for favors for the shower I'm throwing for my best friend...has anyone ever tried the colored chocolate? Her wedding colors are shades of pink- I was thinking about using pink colored choc, but wasn't sure if anyone had tried them- do they taste okay? Do you think they would just look gross? I don't know how I feel about pink chocolate!

I think pink colored chocolate is while chocolate with pink food coloring. I don't think it would be gross, it would still taste like chocolate

Correct its white choc. with food coloring.. and tastes pretty good! regular choc. is still my fave though..

My sister makes lollipops all the time with all different colored chocolates and they taste good...She gets the colored chips/pellets (whatever they're called) and melts them.

I made color chocolate lollipops for my cousin's bridal shower. It was yellow roses, the green plant thing on the end. It came out nice and it taste the same to me. You just need alot of time to do those because it is so time consuming. I tried to do them at the last minute and only was able to make a few. She also made white chocolate lollipops for her wedding they came out nice she only did a few for a little girl she had in the wedding called the flower of love girl she handed lollipops out to people coming down the ailse instead of dropping flowers down the ailse. It was so cute....

I actually made about 75 chocolate Sunflower lollipops using milk chocolate for the brown center and yellow dyed chocolate for the flower petals.....any colored chocolate tastes like White chocolate..... They're pretty easy to work with to..... Let me know if you have any questions...my mom used to make all sorts of chocolate platters for parties!! GOOD LUCK

Definitely go to the Chocolate Duck
They have almost every color - and yes the colored chocolate tastes just like white chocolate.
They also have this stuff called 'Luster Dust' its this edible sparkle - I made lollipops for my friends shower and put the sparkle on them and everyone loved them.
and they chocolate duck has so many molds!

I think it would be cute, but be careful not to go too overboard with the pink, especially with the lollipops. It may start to look more like a baby shower than a bridal shower. JMO though.
