Has anybody else been with their FH since they were kids?
FH and I have been together since we were 16. We're now 23. I had the strangest moment tonight. For most of our relationship, I have thought of FH as a 'boy.' Not in a bad way, just, hey we were kids, right! So, he wasn't a man yet, and I knew that.
I realized tonight that I now think of him as a man. I don't know when this transition happened or why, but it did. Isn't that strange?
Can anybody else relate? If you have known each other since you were kids, when did you start seeing him as an adult?

Re: being with fh since childhood
we started dating at 17 now were 21 (i know were not old but its still a transition from teenager to adult) and i always looked at him as a boy untill i saw him in uniform also at his graduation. and i busted into tears cuz i was so proud but i realized that he was the MAN in my life not the boy. it was an amazing feeling!
