Bella is Getting Spayed on Monday......UPDATE-- Bella's Home!!!
I'm very upset about this, but I know it's healthier for her. I just feel bad, And we have to leave her overnight.. I don't want to leave her alone.. She's my little baby..
Bella is home a doing great!!!! She was so happy to see me, and wouldn't stop kissing me when I saw Her.... I'm so happy!!!

awww I know how you feel. I hated when I had to bring Tonka to get spayed. I felt so bad. I brought her in the morning and had to pick her up the same day and she was so groggy still, so when I went to take her home she kept gettting car sick. One thing I must stress is to get the cone that they put around their heads. My vet said she didnt need it bc she wasnt licking the wound when actually she was! It ended up getting infected and I had to bring her back to get all kinds of medication and sprays. Its better to be safe than sorry. I think they only cost 10 for the smallest and 20.00 for the biggest. She will sleep the whole day/night anyway so she will be okay while staying at the vet!!

Bella will be fine. YOu are doing the right thing by having her spayed. It will keep her healthier.

I was heartbroken to do it. I had the worst pms and was weepy anyway. I dropped her off and they gave me her collar and leash to take home (so it wouldn't get caught) I cried the whole way home. She was a mess for like 3-4 days... But she started to get better. The cone was sad.
She will be okay though. It is better for her health. Also look into getting the microchip thing installed in her when you take her in. It goes in the back and if she ever gets lost they take her in and all dogs are automatically scanned for it. If she has a chip your info comes up and they call you.
ETA: to your above question, she can't jump, run, she may not eat a lot, she will be sleepy and groggy for a while (although each doggie is different) she will sore at the stitch site.. Not much else.

layla didnt even look at her stictches once she was home!!
she take a couple of steps back in housebreaking becuase of the muscles bueing bumped around!! but she'll be okay!!!

Thanks everyone!!!! No, she doesn't have to wear a cone, but she had her left du-claw removed b/c it was growing in backwards and it kept getting caught on things, and it hurt her... So, she has a cute purple bandage on...
