Bellagio vs. Venetian in Las Vegas
My husband and I want to go to Vegas, and trying to figure out where to stay.Has anyone been to the Bellagio or the Venetian hotels in Las Vegas? Which is better? and Why?
I look forward to hearing your reviews.
TIA

Re: Bellagio vs. Venetian in Las Vegas
Both are gorgeous hotels, I guess it depends on how much money you want to spend. I have never stayed at either, but my girlfriend stayed at the Bellagio when it first opened and it was awesome.

Re: Bellagio vs. Venetian in Las Vegas
I've stayed at the Bellagio and loved it. Never stayed at the Venetian, but I've heard RAVES about the rooms there from friends of mine.I won at the Venetian, not the Bellagio ... go figure
Anyhow, I think overall I'd choose the Bellagio .. mostly for location. Its more centrally located on the strip, so its more convenient to everything. Love the fountains!
Honestly I've stayed ALL OVER the strip (from the Flamingo to Alladin to Treasure Island, Bellagio, MGM .. I've been to Vegas a LOT) and I've never had a bad experience at any of the hotels in LV ..
its VEGA$, baby! Its a blast no matter where you go

Re: Bellagio vs. Venetian in Las Vegas
I have been to vegas numerous times. Bellagio is more older people I found. Venetian I didn't find too much to do in. If you are going with you FH i would tell you definetly do Manadalay Bay. Me and my FH did this awhile back and loved it. Its hip, tons of things and places to go and most of all it suits all ages. We hardly ever left the place.....and its cheaper then the other two. JMO....

Re: Bellagio vs. Venetian in Las Vegas
it was nice -- wasn't crazy about the hotel servicewe'd come back at 11 at night and the room was not cleaned and the bed not made up
we complained a few times to no avail

nope , never stayed at the Monte Carlo.. have heard some mixed review on it, actually
I've stood at:
Flamingo (surprisingly good for an 'older' hotel.. wonderful room service)
MGM (not crazy about it - too huge to get to/from your room.. room average)
Aladdin (LOVED IT - beautiful room.. great deal.. Desert Passage shopping was wonderful too)
Treasure Island (nice room, too chaotic though, too many kids...service so-so)
Bellagio (wonderful, though yes it was an older crowd)
Mirage (simply wonderful all the way around)
If we go back anytime soon, I do want to try to stay at Mandalay Bay.. though every time I looked into it, it was sooo much more $$ than some other places.
I have a friend who SWEARS by staying at the Golden Nugget downtown .. she loves it there. 2 weekends ago she was there and hung out with the cast of the Sopranos!
