Just wanted to check in and see where everyone is at with their planning for a BCC wedding. I'm less than 3 months away and will be going for my tasting next week. Has anyone done a tasting there yet? I'm not sure what to expect, and am I wrong for assuming there is no cost for this? Just curious

hiii! i am pretty much done with most of the major plans. right now i am working on invites. i had done a tasting right after i booked and brought like 8 people. they did it in the restaurant and there was no cost. although, we did tip like $20 because they were really accommodating. you actually have a waitress serving you food, drinks, etc...so we felt like she deserved something since we had a pretty large and demanding group. hth!

Oh that's great, we'll definitely be tipping them if they go through all that. Was it a sampling of the food or just ordering off the menu? glad to hear your planning is going well and thank you for the info!!!

It was pretty much a sampling of the food. they brought little bite size portions out on platters for us. there were probably 8-10 platters in total. Most of it was cocktail hour type food so I am not sure if your tasting will be different as far as getting to taste things that have to do with the main course. if you wouldn't mind, could you please let me know if your tasting is different when you have it? thanks!

Hmm thats so interesting, I'd really like to figure out more the entrees than the cocktail hour food so I'll definitely let you know! Actually I want to try both, but more specifically the entrees.
I remember when we booked Gerard had told us that the menu was completely customizable and that all entrees were served restaurant style with different sides depending on what the meat/poultry was so I'm very interested in finding out what it'll all look like. I have so many questions, i must be such a pain!
