Bellport Country Club
I just came back from the Bellport Country Club and absolutely loved the place. Has anyone had their wedding there / been to a wedding there that can give a review? I did a search and there are no reviews. Thanks in advance!

Re: Bellport Country Club
Hello. I live right up the street from the BPCC. We looked into it ourselves. It is nice but honestly it is overpriced for what they have to offer. If you fell in love with it then thats all that matters. But, if you havent looked around a lot yet then do so, and then go back to BPCC and see how you feel then. Take all into consideration. The price, the quality of the menu, the setup and all. I'm sure you will end up with the hall that is right for you. I hope this helps a little and if you have any questions feel free to FM me. Good luck.

I went to a wedding there and loved it. The ballroom is very roomy. It was a summer evening. The cocktail hour was both indoors and outdoors. Throughout the reception they kept the doors to the patio/golf course opened and there were some tables on the patio.

Actually the prices were not that different than two other places we've looked at - Timber Point and George Washington Manor. They had menu items from GWM's 3 star menu included at no extra charge (filet mignon and chateau briand) and I liked the fact that they had a restaurant there and fresh food delivered daily. They were so nice to us - they even gave us a small bottle of champagne as a congratulations with a label with our names on it. And we haven't even decided on booking there yet. Now that's service!
Anyone else have any experience there?

I looked there also. I felt that their prices were higher and they gave sooo much food - like the extra servings of entrees. I felt the higher price was because of the amount of food in the package, but I really didn't see the necessity of getting that much!I didn't like the reception room as much as Timber Point and I didn't like that there could be more than one affair at a time.
I agree that they were very friendly and I know someone who had their reception there and was very happy with it. We got the bottle of champagne too, but we also got about 3 follow-up letters, which I felt was a little pushy.
