Bellport Country Club - Beach Ceremony?

Has anyone ever had their ceremony at the Bellport Country Club on their beach, instead of the Rose Garden? FI and I love the venue thus far but are trying to figure out if the beach ceremony is the right option for us. (Bonus: if you have pictures of it -- I would be most grateful!)

I'm waiting for more information about it back from my contact at the venue, but thought I would ask here as well!

Bellport Country Club - Beach Ceremony?

I had my reception at the Bellport Country Club last summer and was never told that there was an option of a beach ceremony. I actually live right around the corner and am familiar with the area. I know Mothers Beach is close by and you can go to take some pics but don't think you can have your ceremony there.

Re: Bellport Country Club - Beach Ceremony?

That's so weird! FI and I toured it a few days ago and they definitely said they can do bach ceremonies. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest so we weren't able to go see it. My contact sent me some pictures of the beach ceremony area but I'm having trouble visualizing where it is in relation to some of the other pictures (thats what I am waiting for an answer on from my contact!). They also have a photo of a beach ceremony on their Facebook page in the wedding album which is what I am trying to figure out and potentially recreate :)

Bellport Country Club - Beach Ceremony?

They must use mothers beach then. Yeah I just looked on their website and it does say they can do ceremonies there. The beach is open to residents of the area. Good luck! I had my ceremony at a local church but I may have opted to have it at the beach if I knew it were an option being that I had a beach style theme for my wedding.

Re: Bellport Country Club - Beach Ceremony?

Thanks! I guess I will wait and see what Ashley comes back with for me. We are also going for a beachy/nautical theme so I thought the beach ceremony might make sense over the rose garden, but both are beautiful. Either way I think we are going to book with them because we just loved everything overall. Congrats on your recent nuptials! :)

Just wanted to say my wedding at BCC was absolutely perfect. Ashley and everyone else there is amazing. We did pictures at the beach but it is VERY small, and public, so I'm not sure a beach ceremony would work out unless you are having a very very small wedding. If you have any questions feel free to FM me.

Bellport Country Club - Beach Ceremony?

I'm glad your day went perfectly! It's helping put me a ease with making my decision :)

As for the beach, Ashley said depending on the time of day/tides will depend how much room there is for chairs. We are having about 100 total -- and my challenga is actually not having it on sand, but I'd love grass instead with sand just beyond it. Too bad they have that swingset/playground pieces there -- they ruin a bit of the backdrop!
