i feel like i heard great reviews and that the pricing is reasonable. When i called, they told me to meet them at the food court in the source mall. that's a little weird... i feel like I'm in a scene out of a Lifetime child abductor movie! is this normal? or should I go with my gut?

Several of the photographers I met with asked me to meet them at a Starbucks or something. I met with Benchwerk at a Starbucks in the city. I'm still here! LOL. They are as nice, young married couple. Don't worry, they aren't scary!

Omg, they are AMAZING!!! I have photos in my albums if you'd like to see. I felt the same way when they asked me to meet them at a Dunkin' Donuts But they don't have a real office because they work out of their home. Go meet with them - they're amazzzinggg!!! FH and I met them at the Source Mall in Westbury. They said that actually do a lot of business there. It was convenient for me and FH because my parents live in Westbury and we were staying with them. Don't be alarmed! They bring all their stuff with them and the meeting was really professional! They so much more to show than what is on their website and blog. Our meeting was great and we booked shortly after!

SInce they don't pay the overhead for a studio, that's how they keep the prices so reasonable. THey do beautiful work and these days with everything done digitially on computers, a photog doesn't really ned a lot of space to run a successful business, so a lot of the opt to conduct meeitngs in quiet public places instead. NOt uncomon.
I've seen their work and it's gorgeous. I hadn't heard of them when I boked, but if I had I totally would have met with them. Good luck!

I really wanted to book them, but they were already booked on the day of my wedding. Check their calendar on their site and make sure their day is available!
