Benchwerk Brides

Hi ladies...so I have my epix shoot in a few weeks and I have been seeing all these posts on here about tipping for the e-shoot. I was just wondering what you did or plan on doing???

Thanks!

Re: Benchwerk Brides

Hi! I'm a benchwerk bride too, and I hadn't really thought about this yet. We have our e-shoot at the end of October, but they are driving to Maryland to shoot us, so it was an extra $100 that we will pay in cash the day of the shoot. We were thinking of making them a thank you basket, with a Maryland theme. Are you going to tip them?

I saw in another post that you booked Myther too. What is his pricing like?

Re: Benchwerk Brides

So, I spoke with another bride who already had her shoot and she did not tip...and didn't know if she was even tipping at the wedding. She was going with the rule of thumb where if you are the owner of the company and take in all the money, they you don't receive a tip...unlike if you hired someone from an actual studio. I definitely plan on tipping them for the wedding, but not the e-shoot (which is in two weeks). I definitely plan on offering to buy coffee or something along those lines if we are near a place.

As for Myther...i think his prices are amazing, especially for his type of work. We were not going to do a videographer originally, but then were turned on to this whole cinematic version. All his prices are on his website. And we basically took the basic (2 videographers to start with), added a 30 minute video and an extra hour. I know 30 minutes doesn't sound like much, but ask him to send you a sample and you will see that it's more than enough. Plus...he is great! We loved him the second we met him!

We also looked at GT Modern Creations, which I know other girls suggest. His initial piece of the video is good...not as good as Myther...but his second half, the reception, is like your standard wedding video, which we were not thrilled with at all. His prices are great, don't get me wrong...but it really depends on what you are looking for. There is no comparisson between the two. Plus, the other thing that sold us was the fact that they work together and supposedly work really well together!

Sorry this is so long...but hope it helps! Let me knw if you have any other questions.
